Local Authorities have a statutory duty to collect the EYFSP assessment on behalf of schools to submit to STA/DfE. Keypas provides a facility for managing the collection and reporting of these assessments.
Keypas, Nova reports and Insight provides all the reports, exports and cleaning routines to allow the LA user to manage the analysis and reporting of these results.
EYFSP data
Used for: Importing data submitted by schools
Files available from: Direct from schools
When: June each year
Import route: Import > EYFSP
Contains: EYFSP results across 17 Early Learning Goals
Keypas accepts three types of pupil data files, CTF (.xml), FTF (.xml) and output from the DfE spreadsheet (as .csv). For CTF and FTF files, the file format should look like either of the examples below - depending on whether you are using the DfE or URN number.
Note 1: Due to confusion between similarly named EYFSP and KS1 CTF files, Keypas also accept files named as CTF or FSP. The .csv filename is also shown below.
CTF files should be named as:
- nnnDDDD_CTF_nnnLLLL_xxx or nnnDDDD_FSP_nnnLLLL_xxx
DfE Return files should be named as:
- nnnDDDD_FTF_nnnDfE_xxx
CSV files should be named as:
- EYFSP_DDDD_yy.csv
Key:
- nnn = LA number
- DDDD = 4 didget DfE number
- UUUUUU = 6 digit URN number
- xxx = Incremental export number
- yy = Year
- LLLL = Fixed value
