Weekly Attendance - released September 2025 - adds the capability for Nexus to present analysis on Attendance data in a much more timely fashion than was previously possible to support both LA Attendance duties more widely but also specific vulnerable children cohorts (CLA, CIN and CPP).
Unlike the rest of Insight, Weekly Attendance updates immediately after the data is loaded into Nexus - making it even more timely.
It brings together up to date attendance gathered by the DfE from schools via Wonde with the information that Local Authorities are already loading into Nexus about their schools and pupils to provide a richer analysis with more options for delving into those contextual areas.
Previously Nexus was only able to provide attendance analysis based on school census files, which were gathering that information a term in arrears. That capability will still exist in Nexus, but Weekly Attendance will be much more up to date if not fully 'live' (the data will be as up to date as the LA is prepared to load it in).
