The Perspective Accounts page gives Local Authorities a clear view of the key contacts at each of your schools’ Perspective Lite accounts. It displays key details such as the current headteacher’s details, GIAS mismatches as well as information on the other administrators assigned to each account.
This helps identify outdated information quickly and ensures the right people have access. Crucially, it also allows LAs to request additional school admins via Nexus, helping to keep school data access up to date and to reduce bottlenecks caused by headteacher changes.
To narrow the results, use the filter options at the top of the page.
Please note, schools with Perspective Premium are hidden from this page. This is subject to change, but for now, please contact perspectivesupport@angelsolutions.co.uk if you require an admin for one of these schools, or if you have any questions.
GIAS Mismatches
The system automatically cross references the head teacher details we hold in Perspective Lite against the details held in GIAS, to produce a match/mismatch value.
The Perspective Accounts page uses this mismatch value to quickly identify outdated headteacher information, that you may need to address.
You can filter specifically for these mismatches using the GIAS Status filter. To address a mismatch, click on GIAS Mismatch and select Report incorrect details. For further information click here to view our Updating your Perspective Lite Head Teachers guide.
Adding Admin Accounts to Perspective Lite
You can also use this Perspective Accounts page to request additional administrators on the school's system, Perspective Lite. These accounts can be requested by the option on the right hand side, under the Perspective Admin Accounts column. Perspective Tab in the Schools Dashboard
You can also see useful information about a school by clicking on its name, or by navigating via the Schools area in Nexus and selecting the Perspective tab.
All users in that school's account who have data permissions will be listed here. Those without data access are hidden, but the number of accounts will be displayed in the text above.
You can find out more about what we mean by 'data access' and 'pupil level data access' by clicking the information icon alongside each heading.
We also display the last login information. To send a login reminder/activation email to a user, click the email icon on the right hand side.
