Missing Data From Years Prior to 2021/22

Below are the data releases that we still hope to receive (and are chasing) from DfE for years before 2021/22

• CIN NPD Data 2019/20
• CIN NPD Data 2020/21
• KS4 NPD 2020/21

Any other missing data is not now expected to be received.

Notes

Please note this statement from the DfE, which is in the NCER/DfE SLA in relation to NPD data - "The Data Controller will supply the NPD Data to the Recipient, as soon as may be practicable, by the target date for supply of NPD Data as set out in the Schedule of this Agreement. The Data Controller will not be liable for any delay in the supply of the NPD Data, however, caused." The Data Controller, in this instance, is the DfE.

NPD = National Pupil Database – data comes directly from DfE and is loaded directly into NCER Nexus for all LAs in England.
NCER Nova is updated with the three NPD data sets throughout the year. The “Data Source” option continues to say “NPD”, but the underlying data will be either Unamended/Amended/Final.
NCER Insight is updated with the three NPD data sets throughout the year. Please refer to the “Data Sources” information box in the top right hand of Insight analysis to view which data sets are currently being used in the analysis.
